( Bottoms Up! )I've once again gained the trust of the gorgeous little humming birds which, come to my feeders! They've even fluttered their small wings against my arm! They are brave little creatures. Once they gain a mutual respect they show very little fear, and return again and again to my delite!
Gee, I've never seen a hummingbird sitting still before.
ReplyDeleteSeems like we have a bumper crop of butterflies, bees and birds in our yard this year. Truly a delight.
We've had quite a few hummingbirds too, even though I don't have any feeders. Now I want to get a feeder because I want to feel one fluttering against my arm. What a thrill!
Susan C, when you do get a feeder, don't let people tell you that you have to add red coloring, as in food coloring to their nector water, because as you can see I don't. =] The Bees are frequent visitors to their feeders as well.
